Jen Barrkman

Jen's experience in working as a consultant within groups, communities and organisations has been extensive. She combines her love of story and creativity with her belief in the importance of creating inclusive places for all to be heard. Jen gently encourages people's active participation in small and large groups while also being mindful of the group or teams purpose. Over the last twenty five years she has facilitated and organised broad range of activities including training, workshops, team development, forums and conferences as well as oral history and community projects to enable people's story to be told using digital, written and creative mediums. Jen has been with Brisbane Playback Theatre for nineteen years during which time she has taken on roles of artistic director, conductor and actor.
